Lab Rats Literary Magazine

Hello and welcome to LAB RATS Lit Mag!!! The first and only literary magazine for Columbia’s Engineering School and the first and only Graduate Student Literary Magazine! When we’re not smacking our little paws on a keyboard or pipetting samples with our tiny hands, we’re busy being big thinkers and dreamers in other ways! We wanted to create LAB RATS to have a space for engineering students, staff, and faculty to write silly poems, share our worries, make artwork, and get to know each other creatively outside of the lab. We hope LAB RATS can be a safe, judgement-free zone where we can share ideas and inspiration. Whether it’s a photo of some cool graffiti you saw on your commute, a dream you had, or a short story– we welcome any and all submissions. Our goal is to create a space to celebrate our artistic sides.

We're now open for submissions of any kind!! Have a silly poem you wrote or a cool photo you took? A song you can't stop listening to? Submit it to LAB RATS LitMag by December 21st to be in our first edition!
