qSTEM Club

qSTEM is a student organization belonging to Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). The purpose of the club is to:

1. Provide queer and allied students of Columbia University (CU) professional, social and educational opportunities.

2. Create a channel of discussion between the administration and faculty of the school and LGBTQ individuals to help make Columbia University a more inclusive and respectful space.

3. Improve the university experience of LGBTQ+ students pursuing engineering and sciences.

4. Provide a safe space for students who identify as LGBTQ+.

5. Spread awareness about queer issues.

6. Create a community for queer professionals.
